What kind of crazy people would make a course like this?

Poop School was created by the mother, daughter breeding and training team of Susanne Shelton and Rebecca Pinkston in order to teach their crate conditioning protocol to new puppy owners interested in creating strong positive associations with the crate, and teaching crate skills to their puppy in an effective, developmentally appropriate, and kind manner.     We wanted an easy to implement crate protocol that would assist the family with developmentally appropriate crate conditioning while also setting puppies up for crate training without the distressing nature of past methods.    Both Rebecca and Susanne have decades of experience crate training over 6 generations of their own puppies and assisting hundreds of clients with their safe and practical methods.  

Susanne is a German Shepherd breeder of over 30 years. Her breeding program spans 6 generations, and over 75 litters. She is an AKC Breeder of Merit, and two time Mid Central Regional First Place Breeder. She has served as the USCA Mid Central Region Breed Warden, and a member of the USCA Breed Advisory Committee for the German Shepherd Dog. She has bred HIT dogs in Obedience and Schutzhund, National participantes in Schutzhund, Obedience, and Agility, GSDCA nationally ranked dogs in Agility, Rally, and Obedience, and UKC Nationally ranked dogs (all breed) in Obedience and has titled and breed surveyed many of her own dogs in Schutzhund, Obedience, agility, and conformation. Susanne was a Certified Professional Dog Trainer - Knowledge Assesed, and is the owner of Clickety Split Dog Training.

Rebecca is a second generation breeder and trainer, has been involved in the breeding program at Austerlitz Shepherds since childhood, she has titled home bred dogs, shown her dogs in conformation, and is the primary kennel manager for Austerlitz Shepherds. She has whelped, raised, and trained many litters and is expert in all aspects of early puppy care and raising. Rebecca is a professional trainer, who teaches manners and puppy classes at Clickety Split Dog Training.
