Settle Down School is suitable for any healthy dog, of any age, who likes food and treats, and can take treats from your hand and off the floor.  

If your dog is on a limited ingredient diet or has a medical diet, it is worth discussing with your veterinarian if there are enough food and treat options for this class. While you will be using your dog's primary meal if they find that reinforcing, you will need higher value training treats, and your vet can help you find safe options for your sensitive dog's situation.

You and your dog do not need any particular training skills, just some free time and interest.  

This course is suitable for both new dog owners and experienced trainers.
